Every year, June 7 is the World Food Safety Day designated by the United Nations. To commemorate this day, the Japan Food Safety Management Association (JFSM) will hold a seminar event "World Food Safety Day 2025" on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. to learn and share with all those involved in food safety in the food chain.
This year, in line with the theme "Food Safety: Science in Action" announced by WHO/FAO, JFSM will hold a seminar event "World Food Safety Day 2025" on June 6, 2025 at 14:00, with the keyword "Science in Action leads to Food Safety". Ms. Emiko Araki, Academic Advisor of the Japan Food Sanitation Association and a member of the ISO/TC34/SC17 Domestic Subcommittee, will speak on the theme of "The 2022 Revision of Codex General Principles of Food Sanitation and the Role of Testing and Inspection: The Relationship between Validation, Verification and Monitoring".
We are planning to add more programs in the future. Please look forward to it.

This event will be held in a hybrid format of on-site and online delivery. Both on-site and online are free of charge.

After the program, there will be time for networking after the program from 5:00pm to 6:00pm (drinks and snacks provided). (Drinks and snacks will be provided.)
