The ceremony was attended by Mr Phong, Director General of the National Authority for Agro-forestry-Fishery Quality, Processing and Market Development (NAFIQPM), Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr Hùng, Director of NAFIQPM Center 6, JFSM Chairman Masanori Kotani, as well as the Vietnamese press, government agencies and many food business people.The ceremony celebrated the birth of the first JFS Standards Auditing Company in the South East Asian region.Prior to the celebration ceremony, JFSM organised a seminar on JFS standards and the Japanese food safety legislation for Vietnamese food businesses and stakeholders.At the beginning of the ceremony, Mr Phong, Director General of NAFIQPM, spoke about the significance of the registration as a JFS standards auditing company and its future prospects, saying: 'We are delighted that NAFIQPM Center 6 has become the first registered auditing company in South East Asia.We will continue to support the spread of JFS standards in Vietnam."He said.
