In pursuit of JFS certification, we will conduct the 'JFS Master Training Program' to develop leaders in food safety management systems. Participants who successfully complete the program will be certified as 'JFS Master' by the Food Safety Management Association and will receive a certificate of completion.

　

This training program is intended for the following participants:

• Food businesses planning to obtain JFS-A/B/B Plus/C Standard certification
• Food businesses planning to advance from JFS-B to JFS-C Standard certification
• Food businesses planning to advance from JFS-B Plus to JFS-C Standard certification
• Food businesses that have obtained and are maintaining certification or conformance for JFS-A/B/C Standards

　

*This training is highly recommended for candidates for HACCP team leaders, those who will play a central role in developing Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), or individuals who will become internal auditors in organizations with JFS-C Standard certification or those planning to obtain it. We encourage you to consider participating.

　

This training program will be conducted as part of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries' subsidy project for the fiscal year 2024.

　

▼Eligibility

To be eligible for participation, individuals must meet at least one of the following criteria:

Practical experience as a food safety manager or HACCP team member
Completion of a three-day HACCP training course
Completion of the JFS-C internal auditor course
Completion of the JFS Standard Prestige Training (held in fiscal year 2023)
Completion of the JFS Master Prestige Training (conducted in fiscal year 2024)

[JFS Standard Knowledge Acquisition Section] E-Learning Period: November 21, 2024 - January 31, 2025 Method: Curriculum participation and assessment via e-learning Curriculum:

Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) - 2.5 hours
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) - 2.5 hours
Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) - 3.0 hours

　

[Practical Skills Acquisition Section] Date: February 18, 2025 (Tuesday) 10:00 - 17:00 (tentative) Method: In-person (at a conference room in Tokyo) and via remote meeting systems Curriculum (tentative):

Understanding and utilizing the PDCA cycle
Acquiring leadership skills as a JFS Master
Deepening understanding of internal audits
Deepening understanding of management reviews
Group exercises
Discussion of pre-submitted questions
Sharing and discussing effective cases of JFS Standard implementation

　
A final test will be conducted after the Practical Skills Acquisition Section. Participants who pass the test will be certified as 'JFS Masters.'
