Version 3.0 Guideline Edition 1.0 of the JFS-B Standard Document has been released.

The Japan Food Safety Management Association (JFSMA) published the JFS-A Standard

Document Version 3.0 and JFS-B Standard Document Version 3.0 on March 31, 2022.

JFS-B Guideline Edition 1.0, which includes explanations of JFS-B Document Version 3.0,

will be published this time. In addition, JFS-B Standard Document Version 3.0 Self-Checklist is also published.

Version 3.0 Guideline Edition 1.0 of the JFS-A Standard Document is scheduled to be released in July 2022.
In addition, food business operators currently certified under Version 2.0 of the JFS-B Standard Document will be able to transition to Version 3.0 of the JFS-B Standard Document as soon as the auditing company is ready to do so.
Food business operators will only be audited to the JFS-B Standard Document Version 3.0 from January 1, 2023, and the transition audit must be completed by December 31, 2023. Newly certified food business operators can be audited using JFS-B Standard Document Version 3.0 from 2022, but audits after January 1, 2023 will be audited using JFS-B Standard Document Version 3.0.
