We are proud to announce that the total number of organizations* that have acquired certification/conformity assessment of #JFS Standard, a food safety management standard developed and operated by the Japan Food Safety Management Association (JFSM), has exceeded 2,000.

JFSM currently operates a total of five standards, focusing on certification and conformity assessment standards for food manufacturing and food service operations with high food safety risks.

As of March 2022, JFS-A/B conformity assessment standard, which is a step-up program that is easy for all food manufacturing operations, JFS-C standard recognized by GFSI(Global Food Safety Initiatives), JFS standard (Food Service), which is for food service, lunch, and meal service, JFS standard (Food Service Multi-site) for multiple food service locations, and JFS-DT standard, which covers sorting and packaging of produce for Thailand.

JFSM will continue its efforts to provide easy-to-understand standards and certification mechanisms that enable food business operators to step up to international standard food safety management regardless of the size of their business, and to support food manufacturers in establishing international standard food safety management systems and making JFS standards a passport to food safety in domestic and international transactions in various flexible ways.

Notes: The number of certified organizations in this release refers to the number of organizations with valid JFS certifications and certificates of conformity as of March 11, 2022 (Friday).
