This brings the total number of GFSI-approved sectors for Version 3.0 of the JFS-C standard to three, including Sector CIV (Processing of products stored at room temperature), which was re-approved by GFSI on December 9, 2021.

When new GFSI-approved sectors are added to the JFS-C Standard Version 3.0, they will be announced in the JFSM membership newsletter and on the JFSM website.

The JFS-C standard is one of the food safety management standards developed and operated by JFSM since the establishment of JFSM in 2016 by the Preparatory Committee for the Promotion of Food Safety Management with the participation of 45 major food-related companies in Japan.
